Uplands Loop

Overview

Mostly singletrack trail wandering through smooth grass covered hills. Offers nice views of the surrounding area including Liberty Lake.

This nontechnical trail provides a good area to practice and hone skills for new riders. But bikers should expect to do some steady, but reasonable, climbing.

Shade is pretty much nonexistent so plan on getting a lot of sun exposure. Bring plenty of water and be thoughtful of what time of day you ride during the Summer.

Some portions of the conservation area are criss crossed with wildlife and foot paths. Combined with a lack of signs, it can make things a bit confusing.

Saltese Uplands Conservation Area is a multi use trail network. Care should be taken to accommodate other users. Expect traffic in both directions and always yield to hikers and equestrian riders.
