Dynee's Tail

Overview

This trail cuts across the center of the South Ridge Loop. It is a two-way trail. The north end of the trail starts by the big fallen tree on South Ridge Way. The tree has been cut into sections, and makes a decent landmark. After rolling between the ferns, the route goes up a slight incline, then crosses over 45th Parallel.

The trail continues until you emerge onto South Ridge Loop. If you head left, you'll run into Stone Mill Loop or Gazebo on the right. If you turn right when you come out of Dynee, you would eventually run into Burl Cutoff.

There are lots of roots, and make sure you have long socks on, there are quite a few blackberry and fern bushes at shin height.
