The first steep little drop onto this trail is an appetizer for the whole run; narrow, winding singletrack through a beautiful oak forest punctuated by several rocks.

Be prepared for sharp turns and quick, steep drops. There are some minor little uphill bursts but it's downhill for the most part.

Unlike many parts of the Coyote Wall/Syncline System, this trail can be pretty fun even when ridden slowly, so be sure to enjoy yourself.

This trail terminates at a fork. Going right and slightly uphill takes you onto the second half of Loose Lucy towards Hidden Canyon and the parking lots for the Coyote Wall. Going left and slightly downhill takes you down Loose Lucy to the road, which doesn't have a proper parking lot.
Shoestring presents you with brief open sections before diving back into the trees.
Loose Lucy is simple and wonderful. Sadly, not much of the trail is like this though.
