Simple Tools

Overview

This is a reroute that retains the original top half of Simple Tools (where it meets Upper Dan) with a new bottom half. To reach the base of Simple Tools, head to the Northwest corner of the upper gravel parking lot.<br> <br>Shallow berms quickly take riders along the side of the large sports field before the trail begins to climb in earnest. After the first set of switchback up the slope, an intersection with The Carousel diverts to the right. The switchbacks continue to follow one after the other until the grade slackens for a bit on two long straightaways. The remainder of the trail follows up and around the contours of the hills to connect with Upper Dans.
