Overview
Jack and the Beanstalk begins at a mossy intersection off of Pony Express, just after it crosses with Cheech & Chong's Wild Ride. The trail opens with a moderate climb as it winds uphill.<br><br>The singletrack along this young trail is pleasantly narrow as it heads up through forest and ferns. The grade steepens occasionally, but rocks and roots stay at a minimum and there are only a few tougher spots.<br><br>Just past the halfway point, the trail levels out before sweeping down to an artistically crafted cedar bridge. Watch your speed here as it's slick when wet, and a bit of a fall should you go over into the creek. On the other side, the trail winds for a bit before crossing over the directional 911 trail. As you approach this spot, look and listen for descending riders.<br><br>The trail continues to bob and weave through dark woods with a dash of roots. The trail abruptly heads into a clearcut (circa late 2017) and quickly twists its way up to end at Kung Fu Theater. Head left to follow Kung Fu Theather, or turn right to more quickly get to Road 2000.
