The Capitol Peak Trail offers some of the roughest riding in an area known for its smooth riding.

The top of the trail is a loose and chunky dash peppered with loose rocks and a few line choices. Alas, the chunk only lasts for a few turns, but the trail continues onto smooth doubletrack as it side-hills through the woods. A large left-hand turn signals the end of the Capitol Peak Trail as it feeds onto either Road C-4000 or the Twin Peaks Trail. Most riders will choose to continue down the Twin Peaks Trail for more smooth doubletrack and beautiful views.

Be aware that this trail is seasonally open to ATV and motorcycle users.
