Das Auto Bahn

Overview

Das Autobahn starts off the south side of Tower Road on a slight rise that looks a lot like a jump. It's not, so you should keep your wheels planted unless you want to go careening into a tree. From there it takes riders along a nicely cut bench high above Whoopsie Woodle. There are a few small poppers in this section and a good-sized gap jump (ride through the left side to roll it).<br><br>A bit of a climb heads around the edge of the communication tower to a great view point with a glimpse of Lake Samish. Take a moment to grab a photo with your crew and then head back into the trees for some fun turns, rolls, and a couple of surprisingly deep pocket corners. You'll also blast over a scattering of roots to add to the fun.<br><br>Near the end, there is a large step-down with a good gap in the middle. You'll need plenty of speed and good commitment for this one, but there is also a corner just past the landing to complicate things. Many riders will choose to use the ride-around on the left to keep this trail at a more intermediate level. The very bottom of the trail pitches down onto Road 3200 between Irish Death and Prison Love.
