Clearcut winds through the trees with the steepest sections marked by marbled ruts that ride a bit like theme-park water slides. The crux is a root section between two switchbacks that comes about two-thirds of the way down. <br><br>The roots themselves are manageable, but be sure to keep speed under control into the next left, where a technical and flat corner claims its fair share. As with other Tokul trails, the bottom section of this trail has a tendency to overgrow in the shoulder seasons, so be prepared to battle a nettle or two on the way down.
