West Side Road

Overview

The West Side Road (Rd 1000) makes a nice added loop with the Iverson Railroad Trail or can take you further west out to scenic Poo Poo Point. The road is accessed from the lower or upper parking areas by passing the gate just south of the upper parking area access road.<br><br>Access the west end of the Iverson Railroad Trail at 1.5 miles or continue for several more miles all the way to Poo Poo Point. The road twists and turns as it travels northwest and has a few climbs including the final ascent up to the overlook. This far section of road is less traveled than the more popular routes on Tiger Mountain and gives you a nice climbing workout that can be ridden through the winter.
