Devilcross

Overview

Devilscross rests in the back-acreage and starts and ends on low-traffic loggings roads. You likely won't stumble across it by accident, but if you're looking for something a little different on Galbraith it's a good option. For many years the trail was a short fall-line descent through dense foliage with a cool rock slab and optional roll.

That section still persist, but recently Kona Bikes expanded the trail. They started with two punchy rock rolls at the old exit before lengthen the trail by nearly a mile. The new section starts on the other side of Road 2700 and heads back into the trees for a non-manicured romp through the woods. There are plenty of off-camber roots and awkward moves to keep you on your toes as you roll through. A bit past the half-way mark the trail takes on more of a cross-country feel with rising and falling singletrack accompanied by several bridges in the final section.

If a slightly un-tamed trail with natural obstacles mixed with beautiful rock and streams sounds like it's worth some effort then check out Devilscross. Just know the exit is a bit of a climb starting on Road 2900
