Candy splits off of Family Fun Center just before the bridge creek crossing. The majority of the trail is a mellow to moderate climb with infrequent obstacles. However, the first portion of the trail displays a harder outer shell with plenty of roots and tricky corners. Once past RD 1240, Candy assumes a relaxed demeanor, except for the occasional spurt of climbing, en route to RD 2600.
