Northwest Timber Trail is one of the original trails at Tiger Mountain. It's a hiking trail first and a biking trail second. Because of this, it's a mellow trail that is a relatively smooth, old-school cross-country offering. It provides some very pretty views and several bridge crossings, however, the trail architecture doesn't offer too much interest beyond a single technical rootball-roll that many riders end up walking.

The two-way trail serves its roll as a connector well, and is popular with hikers. The singletrack provides an exit for Joy Ride and access to Easy, Tiger, The Legend, and Megafauna.
