A relaxed pedal on an easily accessed urban route, the Railroad Trail can be ridden in either direction along its 3 plus miles of paved/graveled trail.<br><br>From West to East the trail runs from King St. to the intersection with Alabama St. and Electric Ave. The majority of the route is bordered by residences and homes but much more so on the west half. The east half in turn cloaks many of the homes in a lush forest complete with shady trees and banks of ferns.<br><br>The Railroad Trail makes several street crossings, traffic seems to be well aware of these intersections but continued care should be taken. These crossing are marked by either stop sign or wood posts in the trail.<br><br>This route can be accessed from numerous points throughout, the majority of which lead into neighborhoods.
