Jacobson-Dry Gulch Saddle

Overview

Note: This trail contains some of the sloppiest footing on Saddle Rock.

From Jacobson Preserve, follow the trail until it briefly forks, to become one again. Hang a right, and ride straight up the hill until the trail intersects the trail that sidehills the slope. After this, the riding is fairly leisurely, until after you pass the saddle (and the intersection with the Hurd Ranch Trail) and begin heading down the hill. From here, the footing gets loose and steep, with sharp turns. It may be better to slow down on these sections. Eventually, the trail meets up with the Saddle Rock Main Trail.
