Overview
The surface of this forest road is gravel or packed dirt, and is maintained annually. It is one of the primary roads to access other FS roads in the area, but traffic is rare. Only open in the summer months (May-Oct) due to its elevation; check with the nearest Forest Service Office for up-to-date information. The road is wide (~10+ft) and has an average grade of 5%. It climbs at a fairly steady rate, with few turns.
