Rideable in either direction. Trail 201 can be accessed along W. Marchland Road (via the N. Old Trails Road Parking Lot). From the gated park entrance, you'll spend the first portion of your ride along a level dirt road (Intersections with Trail 202 & Trail 10). Three quarters of a mile in, the trail rises and falls beneath a basalt covered scree slope.

At roughly one mile, the trail takes a technical pitch down a short, loose graveled, slope. Bikers can also opt for the less complicated Trail 201 Segment which offers an easier singletrack alternative. Riders who are climbing up Trail 201 will likely benefit from this segment trail as well.

Continuing, the trail coasts along a plateaued hill dotted by a wood of fallen trees. In addition to Spring flowers the hill presents pleasant views of the park and river below. Before finishing, Trail 201 leads down a ridge-line descent which intersects Trail 210 and crosses Trail 200 before ending at Trail 212.

Trail 201 also serves as part of the route for the extensive Trail 25.
