Stick, along with Brick and Straw, form the 3 Pigs a moderate climbing route that leaves across from Checkpoint Alpha and climbs to the lower end of Kaiser. Although 3 Pigs is more challenging and is 0.2 miles longer than the road, it's a lot more fun than a gravel road climb. This trail can be ridden in either direction.<br><br>Stick is the easiest of the three sections. It is also smoothly accessed from Pony Express, allowing riders to make a less challenging climb by excluding Brick. On the way down, Stick begins on the same road that Unemployment Line feeds onto, RD 2300, so it can serve as an alternate descent to Atomic Dog. In either direction, look forward to pleasant singletrack winding through rich forest.
