Limantour Spit Trail

Overview

From the Limantour Beach parking lot, follow the Beach Access path for 1/4 of a mile until you reach the beach. Bear to the right to follow the Limantour Spit Trail. You'll have great views of both the Pacific and Estero de Limantour. After a little over 1 mile the path ends as the area in front of you is taken over by the dunes. From here you can enjoy the beach or turn around and follow the same trail back to the parking area.<br><br>Thanks to John McKinney, The Trailmaster, for sharing this trail description.
