This 2.5-mile road splits off of FS Road #7200 and connects to the Dalles Ridge Trailhead. Most riders will prefer shuttling to the top, but if you do find yourself on two wheels, this section only has a few sections of steeper grades. However, the tread is a little rockier too.<br><br>At the top, there's space for a few vehicles and the start of the Dalles Ridge Trail #1173 which leads to the Ranger Creek Trail, which in turn connects to the Palisades Trail.
